The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.12% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.31% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 1.06% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Brazil’s oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s oil & gas industry in October 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 76.92% in October 2021, registering a 33.33% growth over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 9.62% share, a decrease of 37.5% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 7.69%, registering a 33.33% decline from September 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 5.77%, down 25% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Brazil’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 11.11% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Brazil’s oil & gas industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Exxon Mobil posted 43 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a rise of 4.88% over the previous month, followed by Yara International with 4 jobs and a 300% growth. Ultrapar Participacoes with 1 IT job and Equinor with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while Momentive Performance Materials recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 92.31%, up by 9.09% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 7.69% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
