The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 15.38% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.75% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 0.77% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Exxon Mobil IT hiring in March 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Exxon Mobil, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.87% in March 2022, and a 35.37% rise over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 13.25% in March 2022, and registered growth of 69.23%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.24% in March 2022, a 41.67% rise from February 2022.

South & Central America stood next with 30.72%, registering a 50% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.06% share and a 47.06% rise over February 2022.
In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 10.84% and a month-on-month increase of 20%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 43.37% share in March 2022, a 41.18% growth over February 2022. Brazil featured next with a 30.12% share, up 47.06% over the previous month. Hungary recorded a 13.25% share, an increase of 57.14% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Exxon Mobil IT hiring activity in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.69%, up by 36.78% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.66% share, a growth of 73.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.05% share, up 33.33% over February 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.6%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
