The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 163.64% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s oil & gas industry during September 2022 over August 2022.

TotalEnergies posted 13 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 333.33% over the previous month, followed by TechnipFMC with 6 jobs and a flat growth. Air Liquide with 4 IT jobs and Arkema with 4 jobs, recorded a 100% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Roquette Freres recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during September 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.29%, up by 222.22% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with an 8.82% share, registered a decline of 25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.88% share, down 33.33% over August 2022.
