1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 56.7% in November 2021, registering a 1.85% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 15.46% share, an increase of 50% over the previous month.

3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 11.34%, registering an 8.33% decline from October 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 8.25%, down 42.86% over the previous month.

Top five oil & gas companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 8.14% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s oil & gas industry during November 2021 over October 2021.

Evonik Industries posted 23 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 53.33% over the previous month, followed by BASF with 19 jobs and a 47.22% drop. Yara International with 18 IT jobs and Baker Hughes with 11 jobs, recorded a 5.88% growth and a 266.67% growth, respectively, while Henkel AGKGaA recorded a decline of 46.67% with 8 job postings during November 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.23%, up by 5.88% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 13.4% share, registered an increase of 44.44% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.37% share, down 25% over October 2021.
