Germany-based company Henkel AGKGaA’s IT hiring declined 13.3% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.14% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 3.59% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.18% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Henkel AGKGaA IT hiring in October 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Henkel AGKGaA, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.63% in October 2021, and a 52.38% drop over September 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 21.05% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 7.69%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.79% in October 2021, an 80% rise from September 2021.

Europe drives IT hiring at Henkel AGKGaA

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 40.35% share, which marked a 42.5% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 26.32%, registering an 11.76% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 22.81% share and a 50% drop over September 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 10.53% and a month-on-month increase of 50%.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 26.32% share in October 2021, a 28.57% decline over September 2021. US featured next with a 22.81% share, down 7.14% over the previous month. India recorded a 15.79% share, a decline of 52.63% compared with September 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Henkel AGKGaA IT hiring activity in October 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.14%, down by 36% from September 2021. Entry Level positions with a 35.09% share, a decline of 13.04% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.77% share, down 64.29% over September 2021.
