The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.89% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
Out of the oil & gas industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.34% share in October 2021, recording an increase of 0.58% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Hungary’s oil & gas industry’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 94.29% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary’s oil & gas industry in October 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.57% in October 2021, registering a 19.05% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 14.29% share, a decrease of 37.5% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.29%, registering a 37.5% decline from September 2021.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 11.43%, down 20% over the previous month.
Top five oil & gas companies in Hungary’s IT recruitment activity in October 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.63% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Hungary’s oil & gas industry during October 2021 over September 2021.
Exxon Mobil posted 23 IT jobs in October 2021 and registered a drop of 11.54% over the previous month, followed by BP with 5 jobs and a 16.67% drop. MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas with 3 IT jobs and Baker Hughes Holdings with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Albemarle recorded a decline of 66.67% with 1 job postings during October 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.14%, down by 12.9% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with a 20% share, registered a decline of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 2.86% share, down 75% over September 2021.
