US-based company Koch Industries IT hiring declined 13.8% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 7.91% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 12.96% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 1.13% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Koch Industries IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Koch Industries, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.24% in July 2022, and a 21.31% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 18.09% in July 2022, and registered a decline of 12.2%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 16.08% in July 2022, a 28% rise from June 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Koch Industries

North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 79.4% share, which marked a 17.71% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.6%, registering a 25% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 1.01% share and an 84.62% drop over June 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 77.89% share in July 2022, a 17.11% decline over June 2022. India featured next with a 16.58% share, down 32.65% over the previous month. China recorded a 2.01% share, an increase of 300% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Koch Industries IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.83%, down by 24.43% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.61% share, a growth of 22.86% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 11.56% share, down 52.08% over June 2022.
