US-based company Koch Industries IT hiring declined 2.8% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.97% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 13.86% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.68% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Koch Industries IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Koch Industries, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.29% in June 2022, and a 23.27% drop over May 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 24.03% in June 2022, and registered growth of 463.64%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.89% in June 2022, a 21.15% drop from May 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Koch Industries
North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 74.81% share, which marked a 14.6% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 20.16%, registering an 8.33% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 4.65% share and a 14.29% drop over May 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.39% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 72.87% share in June 2022, a 15.7% decline over May 2022. India featured next with an 18.99% share, up 16.67% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 1.94% share, an increase of 400% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Koch Industries IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.83%, down by 17.06% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.6% share, a growth of 26.32% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 13.57% share, down 14.63% over May 2022.
