North America drives IT hiring at PPG Industries

North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 57.14% share, which marked a 35.48% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 34.29%, registering a 36.84% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 8.57% share and a 40% drop over June 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 54.29% share in July 2022, a 32.14% decline over June 2022. Poland featured next with a 22.86% share, flat growth over the previous month. Malaysia recorded an 8.57% share, an increase of 50% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead PPG Industries IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.29%, down by 27.78% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.29% share, a decline of 37.5% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.43% share, down 63.64% over June 2022.
