IT jobs claimed a 5.42% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 0.08% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops PPG Industries IT hiring in December 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by PPG Industries, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 57.5% in December 2021, and a 28.13% drop over November 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 17.5% in December 2021, and registered growth of 75%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10% in December 2021, a 100% rise from November 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at PPG Industries
North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 72.5% share, which marked a 12.12% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 17.5%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10% share and a flat growth over November 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 50% share in December 2021, a 20% decline over November 2021. Mexico featured next with a 17.5% share, down 12.5% over the previous month. Poland recorded a 7.5% share, an increase of 50% compared with November 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead PPG Industries IT hiring activity in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65%, down by 13.33% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 22.5% share, a growth of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.5% share, down 16.67% over November 2021.
