TotalEnergies’s IT hiring activity declines 10.3% in June 2022

France-based company TotalEnergies IT hiring declined 10.3% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.53% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.33% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.02% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer Support Specialists tops TotalEnergies IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by TotalEnergies, Computer Support Specialists emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 34.29% in June 2022, and a 100% rise over May 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 28.57% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 28.57%. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 17.14% in June 2022, a 68.42% drop from May 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at TotalEnergies

North America emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 42.86% share, which marked a 7.14% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 37.14%, registering a 55.17% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.43% share and a 33.33% drop over May 2022.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 8.57% and a month-on-month increase of 200%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 42.86% share in June 2022, a 7.14% growth over May 2022. France featured next with a 31.43% share, down 38.89% over the previous month. Philippines recorded an 8.57% share, a decline of 25% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead TotalEnergies IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 48.57%, down by 54.05% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 40% share, a growth of 55.56% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 11.43% share, flat growth over May 2022.
