The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 1.65% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 3.41% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.06% decline over the last three-month average share.
Miscellaneous Computer Occupations tops TotalEnergies IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by TotalEnergies, Miscellaneous Computer Occupations emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 35.29% in May 2022, and a flat growth over April 2022, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 29.41% in May 2022, and registered growth of 42.86%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 17.65% in May 2022, a 50% rise from April 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at TotalEnergies
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 55.88% share, which marked a 35.71% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 29.41%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with an 11.76% share and a 100% rise over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.94% and a month-on-month decline of 75%.
France commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 38.24% share in May 2022, an 8.33% growth over April 2022. US featured next with a 29.41% share, up 66.67% over the previous month. Philippines recorded an 8.82% share, an increase of 200% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead TotalEnergies IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70.59%, up by 41.18% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20.59% share, a growth of 133.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.82% share, down 50% over April 2022.
