Norway-based company Yara International’s IT hiring rose 0.7% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.32% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 21.92% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.62% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Yara International IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Yara International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.6% in September 2021, and an 18.46% drop over August 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 17.81% in September 2021, and registered growth of 85.71%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 8.22% in September 2021, a 100% rise from August 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Yara International

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 58.9% share, which marked a 2.27% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 36.99%, registering a 3.57% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 2.74% share and a flat growth over August 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.37% and a month-on-month decline of 50%.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 30.14% share in September 2021, a 4.35% decline over August 2021. Germany featured next with a 19.18% share, down 6.67% over the previous month. China recorded a 13.7% share, a decline of 9.09% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Yara International IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.97%, flat growth from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 15.07% share, a decline of 26.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.59% share, up 16.67% over August 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.37%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
