Norway-based company Yara International’s IT hiring rose 0.8% in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 3.86% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 17.63% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2022, and recorded a 1.08% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Yara International IT hiring in July 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Yara International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 55.38% in July 2022, and a 14.29% drop over June 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 21.54% in July 2022, and registered flat growth. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 16.92% in July 2022, a 15.38% drop from June 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Yara International

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 63.08% share, which marked an 18% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 36.92%, registering a 26.32% month-on-month growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 43.08% share in July 2022, a 15.15% decline over June 2022. Germany featured next with an 18.46% share, up 71.43% over the previous month. Singapore recorded a 16.92% share, a decline of 26.67% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Yara International IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.85%, down by 5.88% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.08% share, a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.08% share, up 100% over June 2022.
