Norway-based company Yara International’s IT hiring rose 14.0% in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.16% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 26.99% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 3.5% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Yara International IT hiring in November 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Yara International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.87% in November 2021, and a 7.35% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 20.39% in November 2021, and registered a decline of 16%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 6.8% in November 2021, a 30% drop from October 2021.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Yara International

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 57.28% share, which marked a 13.46% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 39.81%, registering a 14.58% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 1.94% share and a flat growth over October 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 0.97% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 28.16% share in November 2021, a 7.41% growth over October 2021. Germany featured next with a 17.48% share, up 5.88% over the previous month. China recorded a 10.68% share, a flat increase compared with October 2021

Junior Level jobs lead Yara International IT hiring activity in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 72.82%, up by 5.63% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 14.56% share, a decline of 25% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.62% share, down 18.75% over October 2021.
