Norway-based company Yara International’s IT hiring rose 39.0% in March 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 7.36% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 20.26% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 0.38% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Yara International IT hiring in March 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Yara International, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 76.92% in March 2022, and an 87.5% rise over February 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 16.67% in March 2022, and registered a decline of 7.14%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 3.85% in March 2022, a 50% rise from February 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Yara International

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global oil & gas IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 73.08% share, which marked a 90% rise over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 20.51%, registering an 11.11% month-on-month decline. North America was the third leading region with a 3.85% share and a 50% rise over February 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.56% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s oil & gas industry IT hiring activity with a 48.72% share in March 2022, a 100% growth over February 2022. China featured next with a 14.1% share, up 57.14% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead Yara International IT hiring activity in March 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.92%, up by 81.82% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.95% share, a growth of 55.56% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.13% share, down 50% over February 2022.
