Abadi is a conventional gas development located in deepwater in Indonesia and is operated by Inpex Masela. Discovered in 2000, Abadi lies in block Masela, with water depth of around 1,902 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2028. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2022. The development cost is expected to be $20,000 m. The Abadi conventional gas development will includes FPSO.

Production from Abadi
Production from the Abadi conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2028 and is forecast to peak in 2029, to approximately 34,065 bpd of crude oil and condensate, 150 Mmcfd of natural gas and 1,200 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2073.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2,317.63 Mmboe, comprised of 308.05 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 1,245.59 bcf of natural gas reserves and 10,811.85 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
