The oil and gas production declined 21.57% in January 2022 from 69,061.67 boe/d in January 2021. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2022 decreased by 21.57% from the same period in 2021.
In January 2022, oil production declined 4.52% to 10,976.07 bd as against the previous month, while gas production declined by 8.33% to 250.5 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 11.1% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production declined by 23.85%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil held a 20.26% share, while gas had a 79.73% share.
