Anyala-Madu is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Nigeria and is operated by FIRST Exploration & Petroleum Development. The field is located in block OML 85 and OML 83, with water depth of 180 feet.
An expansion project is associated with the Anyala-Madu, namely Madu. This project is currently in the commissioning stage.

Production from Anyala-Madu
The Anyala-Madu conventional oil field recovered 4.26% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production expected in 2023. The peak production will approximately 49.96 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 118 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2093. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 405 Mmboe, comprised of 324.94 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 480.32 bcf of natural gas reserves. Anyala-Madu conventional oil field reserves accounts 0.09% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional oil fields globally.
