Argent Energy records 0.73% decrease in production in August 2021

Argent Energy recorded a decrease of 0.73% in total oil and gas production to 305.18 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Argent Energy grew 0.21% in August 2021 from 304.55 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 0.69% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 3.72% to 137.82 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production up by 2.11% to 0.97 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 2.16% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 2.47%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 45.16% share, while gas production held a 54.8% share.

Looking at the states where Argent Energy recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 300.24 boe/d in the state in August 2021, an increase of 4.24% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 2,732.34 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 4.91% from the same period in 2020.

Argent Energy witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Zapata county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Zapata county held a share of 49.34% for the firm.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,568.44 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 1.12% decrease from the same period in 2020.
