Arkansas witnessed a decrease of 1.89% in total oil and gas production to 2,13,723.55 boe/d in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production declined 8.2% in January 2022 from 2,32,803.83 boe/d in January 2021. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in 2022 decreased by 8.2% from the same period in 2021.

In January 2022, oil production grew 5.44% to 8,900.57 bd as against the previous month, while gas production declined by 2.18% to 1,187.97 mmcf/d.

On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 17.36% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production declined by 9.06%. Out of the total oil and gas production in January 2022, oil held a 4.16% share, while gas had a 95.83% share.
