Production from Astrakhanskoye

The Astrakhanskoye conventional gas field recovered 77.43% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2005. The peak production was approximately 63.78 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 1,257 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2053. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 663.16 Mmboe, comprised of 216.66 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 2,678.97 bcf of natural gas reserves. Astrakhanskoye conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.23% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
