Aurora Resources recorded a decrease of 5.12% in total oil and gas production to 449.04 boe/d in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Aurora Resources declined 14.1% in September 2021 from 522.74 boe/d in September 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 20.92% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s oil production declined 6.05% to 381.9 bd in September 2021 from the previous month, while gas production stood at 0.39 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 17.57% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 31.78%. Out of the total oil and gas production in September 2021, oil production held an 85.05% share, while gas production held a 14.97% share.


Looking at the states where Aurora Resources recorded the highest oil and gas production in September 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 449.04 boe/d in the state in September 2021, a decrease of 5.12% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 4,403.76 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 20.92% from the same period in 2020.



Aurora Resources witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Duval county in September 2021. Out of all the counties, Duval county held a share of 60.71% for the firm. The company produced 272.63 boe/d in Duval county in September 2021, a decrease of 0.41% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 2,547.6 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 27.94% decrease from the same period in 2020.
