Barnett Shale witnessed a decrease of 1.04% in total oil and gas production to 5,55,222.83 boe/d in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The total oil and gas production in Barnett declined by 5.8% in July 2021 from 5,89,420.43 boe/d in July 2020. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in the play decreased by 10.18% from the same period in 2020.
In Barnett oil production declined by 3.77% in July 2021 as compared with the previous month, while gas production decreased by 0.72% to 2,953.6 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production in the play increased by 2.74% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production declined by 11.05%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2021, oil held a 7.7% share, while gas had a 91.72% share.
