Bentley is a heavy oil development located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by EnQuest. Discovered in 1977, Bentley lies in block 9/3b ALL, with water depth of around 374 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The development cost is expected to be $729 m. The Bentley heavy oil development will involve the drilling of approximately 20 wells and includes fixed platform and FSOs.

Production from the Bentley heavy oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2026, to approximately 45,000 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2049.
