Border Exploration recorded a decrease of 5.53% in total oil and gas production to 130.57 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Border Exploration declined 23.38% in August 2021 from 170.42 boe/d in August 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 14.25% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s gas production declined by 6.25% to 0.75 mmcf/d in August 2021 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, gas production declined by 13.74% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, gas production held a 99.04% share.


Looking at the states where Border Exploration recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 130.57 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 5.53% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,055.35 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 14.25% from the same period in 2020.



Border Exploration witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Zapata county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Zapata county held a share of 83.04% for the firm. The company produced 108.42 boe/d in Zapata county in August 2021, a decrease of 9.44% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 898.55 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 1.58% decrease from the same period in 2020.
