Border Exploration records 3.75% decrease in production in September 2021

Border Exploration recorded a decrease of 3.75% in total oil and gas production to 125.67 boe/d in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Border Exploration declined 9.52% in September 2021 from 138.89 boe/d in September 2020.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 13.77% from the same period in 2020.

The company’s gas production declined by 4% to 0.72 mmcf/d in September 2021 from the previous month. On a YTD basis, gas production declined by 13.36% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020. Out of the total oil and gas production in September 2021, gas production held a 98.78% share.

Looking at the states where Border Exploration recorded the highest oil and gas production in September 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 125.67 boe/d in the state in September 2021, a decrease of 3.75% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 1,181.02 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording a decrease of 13.77% from the same period in 2020.

Border Exploration witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Zapata county in September 2021. Out of all the counties, Zapata county held a share of 84.79% for the firm. The company produced 106.56 boe/d in Zapata county in September 2021, a decrease of 1.72% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 1,005.11 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 1.12% decrease from the same period in 2020.
