Huaying Natural Gas will operate the upcoming Chaozhou II LNG regasification terminal, proposed to be built in Guangdong in China. The terminal is expected to start operations in 2023 and will be owned by Huaying Natural Gas.


The Chaozhou II LNG regasification terminal has a proposed regasification capacity of 292.2bcf/annum (billion cubic feet) and storage capacity of 0.28 million tons (Mt).


During the period 2021-2025, the Chaozhou II regasification terminal is expected to witness an estimated capex of $900m.
