The oil and gas production of Continental Resources declined 34.61% in July 2020 from 5,37,868.65 boe/d in July 2019.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 19.94% from the same period in 2019.
The company’s oil production grew 65.59% to 2,59,959.03 bd in July 2020 from the previous month, while gas production up by 15.81% to 532.17 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production decreased by 19.09% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production declined by 21.58%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2020, oil production held a 73.91% share, while gas production held a 26.09% share.
Looking at the states where Continental Resources recorded the highest oil and gas production in July 2020, North Dakota figured at the top, accounting for a 28.72% share. The company produced 1,45,071.62 boe/d in the state in July 2020, an increase of 288.01% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 13,75,063.34 boe/d in North Dakota in 2020, recording a decrease of 62.93% from the same period in 2019.
Continental Resources witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Mckenzie county in July 2020. Out of all the counties, Mckenzie county held a share of 15.91% for the firm. The company produced 55,963.77 boe/d in Mckenzie county in July 2020, an increase of 470.44% in production when compared with the previous month.
