Corrib is a producing conventional gas field located in deepwater in Ireland and is operated by Vermilion Exploration and Production Ireland . The field is located in block 18/20P (Corrib) and 18/25P (Corrib), with water depth of 1,165 feet.

Production from Corrib

The Corrib conventional gas field recovered 62.08% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2017. The peak production was approximately 329 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2088. The field currently accounts for approximately 100% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 57.24 Mmboe, comprised of 343.46 bcf of natural gas reserves. Corrib conventional gas field reserves accounts 0.02% of total remaining reserves of producing conventional gas fields globally.
