Contracts in the downstream oil and gas segment registered a decrease of 45% with a total of 22 contracts in November 2022, when compared with 40 contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

The activity marked a decrease of 73%, when compared with the last 12-month average of 81 contracts.

By comparing contracts related to the downstream segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with eight contracts and a 36% share in November 2022, followed by Europe and Middle East with seven (32%) and four (18%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the downstream segment were awarded in the procurement with 15 contracts, followed by design & engineering and operations & maintenance with nine and seven contracts, respectively.
