The downstream segment contracts in Africa registered an increase with one contract in May 2022, when compared with no contracts in the previous month, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of one contract were registered in the downstream segment of Africa during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of two contracts.

In May 2022, Egypt held one contract and a 100% share of the downstream oil and gas contracts in Africa. It saw an increase of 100% over the previous month’s no contracts and a flat growth when compared with the last 12 month-average of one contract in Egypt.

Based on 12-month moving average of the contracts in the downstream segment of Africa, Egypt and Nigeria took the top spot with one contract each.
