The downstream segment contracts in North America registered an increase of 50% with three contracts in November 2022, when compared with the previous month’s total of two contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of three contracts were registered in the downstream segment of North America during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of five contracts.

In November 2022, the US led the activity with two contracts and a 67% share of the downstream oil and gas contracts in North America. It saw an increase of 200% over the previous month’s no contracts and a decrease of 33% when compared with the last 12 month-average of three contracts in the US.

In second place was Canada with one contract and a 33% share.

Based on 12-month moving average of the contracts in the downstream segment of North America, the US took the top spot with three contracts, followed by Canada with one contract.
