EA/EJA Conventional Oil Field, Nigeria

EA/EJA is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Nigeria and is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Co of Nigeria. The field is located in block OML 79, with water depth of 95 feet.

The field is owned by Nigerian National Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell, Eni and TotalEnergies.


Production from EA/EJA

The EA/EJA conventional oil field recovered 92.19% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2004. The peak production was approximately 107.52 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate, 9 Mmcfd of natural gas and 12 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2041. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 22.15 Mmboe, comprised of 22.15 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
