Western Desert Operating Petroleum operates the El Hamra liquids storage terminal, which is located in Matruh in Egypt. This liquids storage terminal became operational in 1968 and is owned by Egyptian General Petroleum, and Improved Petroleum Recovery Group of Companies.



The terminal, which is accessible by pipeline, and road, primarily stores crude oil.
