El M’Zaid is a conventional oil development located onshore Algeria and is operated by Groupement El M Zaid. El M’Zaid lies in block El M’zaid (Block 438b).

The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2023. The El M’Zaid conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately one wells.

Production from El M’Zaid

Production from the El M’Zaid conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 8,847 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2078.

The field is expected to recover 45.92 Mmboe, comprised of 45.92 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
