Erskine is a producing conventional gas field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by Ithaca Energy (UK). The field is located in block 23/26a ERSKINE FIELD AREA, 23/26b AREA B – ERSKINE FIELD, and 23/26b AREA C – REST OF BLOCK, with water depth of 296 feet.

Production from Erskine

The Erskine conventional gas field recovered 92.59% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2002. The peak production was approximately 21.5 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 105 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2028. The field currently accounts for approximately 1% of the country’s daily output.

The field is expected to recover 10.98 Mmboe, comprised of 6.34 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 27.84 bcf of natural gas reserves.
