Exco Resources recorded a decrease of 5.01% in total oil and gas production to 63,616.1 boe/d in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.

The oil and gas production of Exco Resources declined 4.62% in February 2022 from 66,695.37 boe/d in February 2021.

On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production decreased by 7.46% from the same period in 2021.

The company’s oil production declined 8.65% to 17,313.4 bd in February 2022 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 3.56% to 268.5 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 30.15% in 2022 when compared with the same period in 2021, while gas production declined by 16.73%. Out of the total oil and gas production in February 2022, oil production held a 27.22% share, while gas production held a 72.77% share.


Looking at the states where Exco Resources recorded the highest oil and gas production in February 2022, Louisiana figured at the top, accounting for an 84.25% share. The company produced 27,640.36 boe/d in the state in February 2022, a decrease of 4.44% from the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the company produced 56,565.59 boe/d in Louisiana in 2022, recording a decrease of 59.91% from the same period in 2021.



Exco Resources witnessed the highest oil and gas production in De Soto county in February 2022. Out of all the counties, De Soto county held a share of 35.29% for the firm. The company produced 22,449.82 boe/d in De Soto county in February 2022, an increase of 5.23% in production when compared with the previous month.

On a YTD basis, the county produced 43,782.91 boe/d for the company in 2022, a 0.29% increase from the same period in 2021.
