Farragon is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in the UK and is operated by BP Exploration Operating. The field is located in block 16/23a SOUTHERN AREA OF BLOCK and 16/28a EXCLUDING ANDREW & CYRUS FIELDS, with water depth of 354 feet.

Production from Farragon

The Farragon conventional oil field recovered 98.77% of its total recoverable reserves, with peak production in 2006. The peak production was approximately 18.67 thousand bpd of crude oil and condensate and 10 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2025.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 0.3 Mmboe, comprised of 0.29 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate and 0.1 bcf of natural gas reserves.
