Galaxy Oil recorded an increase of 0.16% in total oil and gas production to 79.84 boe/d in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production of Galaxy Oil declined 42.88% in August 2021 from 139.77 boe/d in August 2020.
On a YTD basis, the company’s total oil and gas production increased by 11.45% from the same period in 2020.
The company’s oil production grew 5.76% to 37.27 bd in August 2021 from the previous month, while gas production declined by 3.85% to 0.25 mmcf/d. On a YTD basis, oil production increased by 22.99% in 2021 when compared with the same period in 2020, while gas production rose by 4.76%. Out of the total oil and gas production in August 2021, oil production held a 46.68% share, while gas production held a 53.98% share.
Looking at the states where Galaxy Oil recorded the highest oil and gas production in August 2021, Texas figured at the top, accounting for a 100% share. The company produced 77.26 boe/d in the state in August 2021, a decrease of 1.48% from the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the company produced 815.93 boe/d in Texas in 2021, recording an increase of 9.25% from the same period in 2020.
Galaxy Oil witnessed the highest oil and gas production in Dimmit county in August 2021. Out of all the counties, Dimmit county held a share of 41.88% for the firm. The company produced 33.44 boe/d in Dimmit county in August 2021, a decrease of 7.47% in production when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, the county produced 479.11 boe/d for the company in 2021, a 17.55% increase from the same period in 2020.
