Golfinho-Atum Complex is a conventional gas development located in deepwater in Mozambique and is operated by Total E&P Mozambique Area 1. Discovered in 2012, Golfinho-Atum Complex lies in block Area 1, with water depth of around 4,920 feet.
The project is currently in construction stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2026. Final investment decision (FID) of the project was approved in 2019. The development cost is expected to be $20,000 m. The Golfinho-Atum Complex conventional gas development will involve the drilling of approximately 20 wells and includes subsea manifold and subsea trees.

Production from Golfinho-Atum Complex
Production from the Golfinho-Atum Complex conventional gas development project is expected to begin in 2026 and is forecast to peak in 2027, to approximately 7,000 bpd of crude oil and condensate, 100 Mmcfd of natural gas and 1,850 Mmcfd of liquid natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2061.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 2,729.64 Mmboe, comprised of 54.11 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate, 1,275.58 bcf of natural gas reserves and 14,777.56 bcf of liquid natural gas reserves.
