Hillard Baxter Mancos Shale witnessed a decrease of 1.47% in total oil and gas production to 1,59,093.97 boe/d in July 2020 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s USL48 database.
The oil and gas production in Hillard Baxter Mancos grew 102.94% in July 2020 from 78,392.84 boe/d in July 2019. On a YTD basis, the total oil and gas production in the play increased by 12.5% from the same period in 2019.
In Hillard Baxter Mancos, oil production grew 1.71% in July 2020 as compared with the previous month, while gas production decreased by 1.62% to 879.94 mmcf/d.
On a YTD basis, oil production in the play decreased by 14.54% in 2020 when compared with the same period in 2019, while gas production rose by 14.38%. Out of the total oil and gas production in July 2020, oil held a 4.64% share, while gas had a 95.36% share.
In Hillard Baxter Mancos, Exxon Mobil emerged as the largest oil and gas producer, recording a total oil and gas production at 1,12,773.79 boe/d in July 2020, a decrease of 1.23% from the previous month. The company held a 0.5% share in oil production and 74.31% share in gas production in July 2020.
On a YTD basis, the company registered a 16.64% increase in total oil and gas production from the same period in 2019.
Compared with other counties within Hillard Baxter Mancos Shale, Sublette county recorded the highest oil and gas production, holding a 71.46% share in July 2020. The county witnessed a 1.22% decrease in production to 1,13,687.82 boe/d in July 2020 when compared with the previous month.
On a YTD basis, it registered an increase of 16.42% in total production from the same period in 2019.
