The 205km-long, upcoming Interconnection Turkey–Bulgaria project will be operated by Bulgartransgaz. This onshore, gas pipeline, with a maximum diameter of 39 inches, will start in Yambol (Bulgaria) and ends in Tekirdag (Turkey).

The Interconnection Turkey–Bulgaria project is expected to commence operations in 2022 and will be owned by Botas Petroleum Pipeline and Bulgarian Energy Holding.


During the period 2021-2025, the Interconnection Turkey–Bulgaria project is expected to witness an estimated capex of $33.23m.
