Ironbark is a cbm development located onshore Australia and is operated by Australia Pacific LNG (Ironbark). Ironbark lies in block ATP 788P.

The project is currently in feed stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2025. Final investment decision (FID) of the project will be approved in 2024.

The field is owned by Origin Energy, ConocoPhillips and China Petrochemical.


Production from Ironbark

Production from the Ironbark cbm development project is expected to begin in 2023 and is forecast to peak in 2028, to approximately 35 Mmcfd of natural gas. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2046.


Remaining recoverable reserves

The field is expected to recover 18.01 Mmboe, comprised of 108.04 bcf of natural gas reserves.
