Contracts in the LNG segment registered an increase in activity by 9% in December 2021 with a total of 12 contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of 11 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of 12 contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 14 contracts.
LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported nine contracts, representing 69% of the total 13 LNG contracts, followed by four contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.
