Contracts in the LNG segment registered a decrease in activity by 47% in June 2022 with a total of eight contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of 15 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of eight contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 16 contracts.
LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported six contracts, representing 75% of the total eight LNG contracts, followed by two contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.

North America took the top position with four contracts and a 50% share of the total LNG contracts globally in June 2022, followed by Asia-Pacific with three (38%) contracts.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the LNG segment were awarded in the operations & maintenance with five contracts, followed by design & engineering with four contracts.
