Contracts in the LNG segment registered a decrease in activity by 33% in November 2021 with a total of 10 contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of 15 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of 10 contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 14 contracts.
LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported eight contracts, representing 73% of the total 11 LNG contracts, followed by three contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.

Asia-Pacific took the top position with four contracts and a 40% share of the total LNG contracts globally in November 2021, followed by Europe and North America with three (30%) and two (20%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the LNG segment were awarded in the design & engineering with five contracts, followed by procurement and construction with four and three contracts, respectively.
