Contracts in the LNG segment registered a decrease in activity by 14% in November 2022 with a total of 18 contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of 21 contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.

A total of 18 contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 16 contracts.


LNG regasification sub-segment registered 10 contracts, representing 50% of the total 20 LNG contracts, followed by 10 contracts in the LNG liquefication sub-segment .

Asia-Pacific took the top position with seven contracts and a 39% share of the total LNG contracts globally in November 2022, followed by Europe and Africa with five (28%) and three (17%) contracts, respectively.

During the month, the majority of contracts in the LNG segment were awarded in the design & engineering with eight contracts, followed by procurement and operations & maintenance with seven and six contracts, respectively.
