Contracts in the LNG segment registered an increase in activity by 60% in September 2022 with a total of eight contracts, when compared with the previous month’s total of five contracts, according to GlobalData’s oil and gas contracts database.
A total of eight contracts were registered in the LNG liquefaction and regasification segment globally during the month, when compared with the last 12-month moving average of 15 contracts.
LNG Liquefication sub-segment reported six contracts, representing 60% of the total 10 LNG contracts, followed by four contracts in the LNG regasification sub-segment.

Europe took the top position with three contracts and a 38% share of the total LNG contracts globally in September 2022, followed by Africa and North America with two (25%) contracts each.
