Malange is a conventional oil development located in shallow water in Angola and is operated by Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Ltd CABGOC. Discovered in 2007, Malange lies in block Block 14 and Malange Development Area, with water depth of around 873 feet.
The project is currently in approval stage and is expected to start commercial production in 2024. The Malange conventional oil development will involve the drilling of approximately five wells and includes subsea tree.

Production from Malange
Production from the Malange conventional oil development project is expected to begin in 2024 and is forecast to peak in 2024, to approximately 9,693 bpd of crude oil and condensate. Based on economic assumptions, the production will continue until the field reaches its economic limit in 2040.
Remaining recoverable reserves
The field is expected to recover 35.15 Mmboe, comprised of 35.15 Mmbbl of crude oil & condensate.
